Welcome to the EST Profiler web page. This database analyzes EST tissue distribution in human and mouse.
EST profiling is based on NCBI UniGene database which clusters individual ESTs. Only clusters with at least 10 ESTs were analyzed. The goal of this database is to identify genes that are enriched in immune tissues. For each cluster a WIP (weighted immune percentage) score is given. These immune score are associated with p-values and allow you to estimate immune enrichment.

Current data sets are based on Human UniGene revision 202 and mouse UniGene revision 163.
